“1 Therefore, I urge you, brothers, in view of God's mercy, to offer your bodies as living sacrifices, holy and pleasing to God--this is your spiritual act of worship. 2 Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God's will is--his good, pleasing and perfect will.”

2 Interesting Facts:
1. I toured with a choir behind the iron curtain in the mid 80s.
2. At age 5 I was given a 2-year-old horse named Charlie that I owned for 23 years until his death in 1993 (the same month I gave birth to my first born). My childhood horse ownership inspired me to want to become a jockey for a living when I grew up.
I married my husband AJ on June 24, 1989 and I have a college-aged daughter named Leanna and a high school- aged son nmed Logan.
I trusted in Christ at age 6 through Child Evangelism Fellowship. I decided to make a public profession of my faith by being baptized at age 12. In elementary school I remember being very bold about my new-found faith and was freely evangelizing classmates at recess, but in middle school I became withdrawn and depressed because of the ridicule of my peers for my faith. I grew up in a tourist town in Colorado that was a very spiritually dark place. The summer after my 7th grade year, my Dad took a teaching job at a Christian school in Arizona. I remember being so grateful to God for providing this exciting opportunity for my family and I. It was a tremendous time of spiritual growth for me. When I went off to college, unfortunately, the first thing I discovered with my new independance, was that I didn't have to go to church and quickly ceased going on a regular basis. It wasn't until my late 20's after 3 yrs of marriage and the arrival of my first child that I started attending church regularly and diving into serving God again. God walked me through some difficult trials in my 30s that I look back on and see His glory in and am so very thankful for because it was another season of growth.
I am in awe of my Creator and so grateful for His gift of salvation through His Son and look forward to the day I will be with him. Until then, my desire is to press on toward the goal of the prize for the upward call of God in Christ Jesus!
