“I waited patiently for the LORD; he turned to me and heard my cry. 2 He lifted me out of the slimy pit, out of the mud and mire; he set my feet on a rock and gave me a firm place to stand. 3 He put a new song in my mouth, a hymn of praise to our God. Many will see and fear and put their trust in the LORD.”
Favorite Character in the Bible:
I taught in a Christian school and served as lead teacher for several years before becoming a full-time mom. I have been blessed to serve in various capacities in children’s and adult ministries including women’s Bible study and seminar teacher, marriage mentor, Sunday School teacher, VBS and Awana leader, and women’s ministry team member. The Lord, in His sovereignty and goodness has used these and other life experiences to mold my heart’s desire: to bring Him glory through serving and ministering to other women. My passion is to challenge and encourage women to grow in their relationships with the Lord and with each other.

2 Interesting Facts:
1. I married my high school sweetheart, Karl. (Our senior prom was our 2nd date, but we didn't marry until after college!)
2. I am a proud mom of two sweet girls and an aunt to triplet girls and their big brother!
I have been married to my wonderful husband Karl for almost 20 years and we are blessed with two daughters - Julia and Madeline.
I was raised in the church by a mother who loved and served the Lord (and continues to do so at Frisco Bible!). I accepted the Lord as my Savior as a child, but God ignited my passion for serving Him during these college years through experiences such as Young Life leader and Kanakuk-Kanakomo camp counselor.
My life verse," Psalm 40:1-3, is a beautiful summation of the Lord's work in my life. I have experienced trials and struggles and watched helplessly as those I love have endured unimaginable pain and suffering. I have cried out to the Lord in desperation, I have waited patiently (and many times, not so patiently!) for Him to respond. It has not been in my timing, and it certainly has not been according to my plan, but my God has lifted me out of the slimy pit of pain and despair, and has set my feet firmly upon the Rock of Jesus Christ. He has filled my heart with new songs of praise to Him. I know that God never wastes our suffering. I pray that many will see the Lord’s undeniable work in my life and put their trust in the Lord. To be used by the Lord to bring others to trust in Him and follow hard after Him is the greatest life purpose I could ever hope to attain.
