This week!

What’s going on parents, I’m Moshe and this is the Weekly Bleep, your one stop shop for everything Student Ministry

This month we launched our series on the attributes of God called Unraveling God’s DNA. Already, we see students discovering truths and asking great questions to know what makes God, God.
On Sundays, we unravel these divine truths. Then, on Wednesdays, we meet in small groups to dig deeper, discuss topics related to our God while also helping them process how to apply what they learn! Small groups are a great way for students to engage with Scripture, and be challenged to live gospel-centered lives. They also have the opportunity to experience what growth in a community looks like by building healthy relationships.

The past couple of Sundays, we have learned about the self-existence of God, the fact that God just is, and then the next week, we learned about the immutability of God, the fact that God doesn’t change, and how that’s good news for us! Can you imagine if God changed His mind on us and invalidated Jesus’ sacrifice or decided He would start breaking His promises? Because God is immutable, we really can fully place our trust in Him.

This Sunday, we will talk about the omnipotence of God.

Remember that each Sunday, we are texting you a Family Discussion Question so that you can keep the conversation going at home, where the real ministry happens. Use it as a prompt to help your student process and apply God’s truth.

We also need to help them process culture.
Ever felt like the cultural rulebook got swapped out overnight? With the whirlwind of debates on gender, the normalization of substance abuse, and the overwhelming noise of secular voices, it's tough out here. Yeah, the rules of culture have definitely changed, so much that we need a new game plan if we want to help kids, preteens and teenagers navigate the world.

But hey, that's where the MAVEN Conference comes in. It's our chance to understand culture, regroup, and set the course right. Sign up for the Maven Conference below and don’t forget to use the promo code FRISCO20 for 20%.

Last but definitely not least, Fall Retreat is happening November 10-12 and sign ups are already open. You can save your spot at the link below.

As always, if you have any questions or concerns, don't hesitate to reach out. We're here to walk alongside you as you train up your children.
See you soon,
