High School Ministry

9th - 12th Grade

About Us

Get to know more about what makes us different.

As we walk alongside parents and students from 9th grade to 12th grade, our hope is to be able to present graduating Seniors as mature believers in Christ.
This means building on the foundation already laid in middle school and helping students transition from knowing basic theology and the Gospel of Christ, to a deeper understanding, living it, and allowing the Holy Spirit to transform them.
We want students to shift from being consumers to contributors in the church.
This means they develop a heart that loves God  and desires to serve Him, which in turn will Edify (build up) the church. This means focusing more on an active pursuit and ownership of their faith that extends to service, mission, and evangelism in the world at large.
We also desire to assist parents as they disciple their students and launch them into a desperate world as mature believers, who love God and therefore Impact those who The Lord brings across their paths.

Know

To know God, we must study God's Word and His world. Through His Word, God tells us about Himself, our  identity, and the world He created. We desire to train students how to know Scripture so they can know and worship God.

  • Biblical truth vs. culture and opposing world views
  • How to dig deeper into Scripture
  • Apologetics: Misunderstood Scripture
  • What it means to follow Christ

Do

As we learn about God and our world,  the application of this knowledge has to be put into motion with our words, actions, and service.  Our desire to provide moments to DO just that through curriculum and tangible opportunities.

  • Spiritual Disciplines - confession, meditation, solitude & fasting
  • Stewardship
  • Being and making disciples

Be

As we learn who God is who we is defined by God and God alone. It is our desire that through our "BE" section, we will provide opportunities for our students identity to align with God.
