🎄Hope for the Holidays 🎁

Join us in gathering essential items and donations to bring comfort and joy to families in need this holiday season.
Can you imagine being 5-years-old and waking up to your mother urgently whispering that it’s time to leave—now? She grabs a small bag with a few clothes and a blanket, and you quietly sneak out together. Your heart races as you leave everything familiar, trusting that it’s the only way to stay safe. Sadly, this is the reality for many families affected by domestic violence.

Our Hope for the Holidays fundraiser is an opportunity to provide comfort and joy to these families in need. Through your generosity, we’re gathering essential items and donations to help create a sense of warmth and hope this holiday season. Let’s put faith into action and show God’s love to those who need it most.
Fundraiser Details: Dates: November 20 - December 11, 2023
From Friendsgiving on November 20 through our Middle School Christmas Party on December 11, we invite you to drop off donations of essential items and toys, or give cash donations to support families affected by domestic violence. Our goal is to deliver 150 essential items to Hope’s Door, bringing comfort and practical support to families rebuilding their lives.

? How to Partner with Us:
We invite you to join us in bringing hope to these families. Here’s how you can get involved:
  • ? Donate Items: Bring items from the Urgent Needs List or new, unwrapped toys. Since these families are in temporary housing, please avoid toys that are too large or have many small pieces.
    • Drop-Off Location: Items and cash donations can be dropped off every Wednesday night at the check-in table.
  • ? Cash Donations: Cash donations will go toward our Hope for the Holidays Shopping Spree event, where students will shop for additional essential items for these families. The last day to drop off items or cash is December 11. (8th Graders traditionally go on a massive shopping spree for Hope's Door with the money raised.)

? Urgent Needs List
Here are the most-needed items we’re collecting, as provided by Hope’s Door:
  • ? Paper Products: Toilet paper, paper towels, facial tissue, copy paper, notebooks
  • ? Cleaning Products: Dishwashing liquid, kitchen & bathroom disinfectant sprays, antibacterial wipes, toilet bowl cleaner
  • ? Gift Cards: Gas and grocery gift cards
