Coffee Bar Takeover - Kaylee

Hi I’m Kaylee Lindstrom! I’m a senior this year and I get to tell y’all about the coffee bar takeover and meeting!

Our team on Sunday, February 11th took complete control of the FBC coffee bar. Throughout all three services we sold coffee as a fundraiser for our mission trip. Everyone in our team had different jobs and had to work together closely for the takeover to run smoothly.  

With the coffee bar we were also fundraising with baked goods. Me and multiple of the girls that our going to Costa Rica got together the Saturday before and baked all day!  It was a hit!

During our meeting we talked a lot about flexibility throughout our trip and what the trip overall is going to look like. Every member of our team also shared what message they wanted to be understood from their personal testimonies. The core message of my testimony is, “You are never alone with God.”  I was personally blown away and encouraged by the amount of people who wanted to support us.

I’m truly in awe of how far our team has come and I’m thrilled to see how God’s going to use us throughout our mission trip!
