Costa Rica SMT26 T-Minus 18 hours and counting....

18 hours to wheels-up... Suitcases everywhere, full of clothes and craft items. (What's in this thing, rocks?!? Yes, literally, there are rocks in my suitcase!)  Messages flying back and forth in WhatsApp.  Passports secured, travel information photographed, cash acquired, packing lists nearby with items constantly being crossed off and others added on.

At one point I caught myself thinking... we are having storms here in Texas... I need to turn my Mac all the way off and unplug it before I leave.  Ten seconds later it hits me... I am the blogger, the Mac has to come with me.  SMH.  {Another 4 items goes on the packing list}

But through it all, the Master Planner has His hand on all of us.  In [Matthew 10:29-31], Jesus emphasized how much God notices and takes part in all that we do...to the extent that "..the very hairs of your head are all numbered."

The CRSMT26 members have been called to "Sigue a Jesús a Costa Rica este verano", and we trust that His Holy Spirit will be with us as we minister to the people, and especially the kids, of Costa Rica!

Our Mission Statement for this trip:  The Mission of Costa Rica 2026 is to love and serve so that the kids can come to follow Jesus.  We will do this by fostering relationships and declaring his glory.

I cannot wait to go wheels-up, and see what God has in store for us in Costa Rica!
