Greetings Readers,
We'd love to share with you the lessons that our team has prepared to teach next week. Our typical schedule will be in the classroom Monday through Friday for two ninety minute lessons each day. Our prayer is that these lessons will be more than just English lessons, but an opportunity to share the gospel and invite students to the afterschool events each day.  We'd love for you to be praying alongside our team each day.

Day 1 Monday
Introductions and Names
Family and family traditions
Friends- friendship is a very difficult concept for the Czech culture. 

Day 2 Tuesday
Travel- learning about the United States and our capital
Texas- learning about our great state of TEXAS. We will also play a Texas Bingo game and teach the students the song "Deep in the Heart of Texas"

Day 3 Wednesday
Sports- learning about different sports and the english verbs
Health- learning vocabulary words associated with health & hospital. We will also play some role play games as the students practice their english.

Day 4
Food & Kitchen- We will have a fun scavenger hunt and learn about the food pyramid. We will also do some kitchen role play and learn how to read an American cookie recipe.

Day 5
Camping & Culture- we will play some games as the students learn vocabulary words. Our culture lessons will be very impactful as we discuss American customs, roles, rituals, courtesies, values and behaviors.

Prayer for Day 1-5
We are hoping that these lessons will lead us into a discussion about Jesus. Two verses continue to come to mind:
John 15:13 "No greater love has a man than this, that one lay down his life for his friend"
Romans 10:13 "How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news."
Please join us in prayer for those two specific verses this next week.
