Czech Republic Mission Trip: We’re Here

Czech Republic Mission Trip: We’re Here!

Trust and obey, for there’s no other way!
Our Czech Republic mission team is officially on the ground, and we couldn’t be more excited to see what God has in store for us!
Our journey began Friday, October 16, as we departed from DFW, filled with anticipation, excitement, and prayers for the days ahead. After traveling overnight, we landed in Prague on Saturday, October 17. What a joy to finally arrive in the Czech Republic! We were excited as we began taking in a new country, adjusting to the time change, and preparing our hearts for the ministry ahead.
On Sunday, October 18, we made our way to Teplice, where our mission truly begins to take shape. Today was our orientation day—a time to get settled, learn more about the ministry, prepare for the week ahead, and grow together as a team. We are grateful for the opportunity to serve alongside one another and are eager to see how God will work through each conversation, activity, and relationship.
Why are we here? We have come to share the hope of Jesus with eighth-grade public school students in Teplice who have never heard the Gospel. Through English conversation lessons and after-school activities, we pray for opportunities to build relationships, demonstrate the love of Christ, and share the truth of who Jesus is.
As we prepare to meet these students, we are reminded of our team verse, Colossians 4:6, which encourages us to let our conversations be gracious and seasoned with salt. Our prayer is that God will guide our words, open doors for meaningful conversations, and give us wisdom to recognize the opportunities He places before us.
We know that sharing the Gospel isn't simply about what we say—it's about how we love, listen, serve, and reflect Jesus in every interaction.
Would you pray with us?
  • Pray for our team as we adjust to the time change and prepare for a full week of ministry.
  • Pray for the students we will meet—that their hearts would be open and that God would prepare them to hear the Gospel.
  • Pray that our conversations would be gracious, our actions would reflect the love of Jesus, and we would be faithful to the opportunities God gives us.
  • Pray that we would trust and obey, even when we don't know exactly what God has planned!
