🏞 About Riverbend Retreat Center
Riverbend provides a place of refuge where people can experience Christ. It offers groups a chance to step away from their busy day-to-day lives and spend meaningful time with God, His creation, and one another. Through this trip, we get to further the Gospel but assisting them with projects that allow them to do what God has called the camp to do during their summer and retreat ministry seasons.

🛠 What We’ll Be Doing
Our mission is to partner with the Riverbend staff to prepare their facilities for upcoming summer camps. This will include hands-on service projects, teamwork, and contributing to a space where countless lives will hear the gospel.
🙌 Why Join Us?
This trip is an incredible opportunity to learn and grow in serving others. Whether it’s your first mission trip or one of many, you'll step outside your comfort zone to make a lasting impact. It's more than just service—it's about enabling more gospel-sharing moments at the camp and deepening your faith. We also are using this to train our Upperclassmen on what it means to disciple our younger students (they are partnered with adults as they lead!)

FAQs

Do I need to have prior mission trip experience?
No, this trip is for everyone! Whether it's your first time serving or you're a mission trip pro, all are welcome.

What should I bring with me?
A detailed packing list will be sent to you after registration, but it’s best to plan on packing casual, work-friendly clothes, bedding, toiletries, and a Bible.

Will we have any free time during the trip?
Yes! While our main focus will be serving, there will be time for fun activities and relaxation to connect with each other and the camp staff.

Will there be adult supervision?
Yes, we will source leaders for this trip from our current group of trusted and vetted middle school and high school leaders.
How can I get involved with Student Ministry?
There are so many ways that you can help and we're always on the lookout for adult Jesus-lovers who can pour into students. You could run a game, fill in as a small-group sub, help plan or coordinate an event, teach a lesson on a Sunday, host, lead a small-group and so much more! Pray about it and then reach out to Dean Snowball (dsnowball@friscobible.com) for High School and Moshe Santillan (msantillan@friscobible.com) for Middle School opportunities.
