Trust Him

Belief in the Lord is the only way to achieve rest. In describing the greatness of Christ, the author of Hebrews includes the logical outcome of His supremacy – those who trust Him find sabbath rest expressed in intimacy with God. Though this rest is grounded in faith, there is human effort requited to enjoy the rest on a daily basis. The work required includes submission to scripture, humility before God, and reliance on Jesus.
