This dark world needs the light of the Gospel to reveal what we are all waiting for: the return of Jesus, our Bridegroom! Join us as we study the parable of the wise and foolish virgins in Matthew 25 to consider how we are being called as a church to rise and shine and prepare for the Lord’s coming. Relying on Jesus’ own rich imagery from his parable, along with a deep dive into ancient wedding practices, the Women of Frisco Bible will rouse ourselves from apathy and slumber to prepare to receive our King, the One and Only, Jesus Christ!

Our Speaker
Fran Legband
Fran Legband has been married to her best friend, Scott, for over years. Together they’ve raised four grown children, welcomed two wonderful in-law kids, and most recently celebrated the arrival of their first grandson.
Fran serves as the Chief Academic Officer at Trinity Christian Academy, where she finds great joy in supporting teachers, students, and families. With more than 30 years in Christian education, she has faithfully shared the gospel through her vocation, viewing her work as a calling to create value by living out God’s truth with excellence and grace.
Fran has a deep love for God’s Word and a passion for encouraging women to grow in Christ. She delights in opening Scripture with the women of God, reminding them that our value is rooted not in what we do, but in who we are in Christ—and from that truth, we are free to serve faithfully.

Amanda is a worship leader and songwriter from Arlington, Texas. She has had the honor of leading worship for over 25 years in a variety of capacities, and currently serves as the Worship Director of Park Springs Bible Church. With her friend, Chrissy, Amanda co-founded My Strength & My Song Music, where they write and release music specifically targeted at women. You can find her music at linktr.ee/amandachapmanmusic
She and her husband, Mark, have been married for 23 years and love hanging out with their 5 kids Ethan (and his wife, Caitlyn), Connor, Noah, Wesley, and Maecie.

No Refunds After 3/29/26. If unforeseen circumstances arise that prevent you from attending the retreat, you can transfer your registration to another person who can either pay you directly or you can choose to gift your spot to someone who would be blessed by it.
