A Weekend to Draw Near: Women's Retreat 2025
“Draw near to God, and He will draw near to you.” -James 4:8
Salvation is rooted in the truth that Jesus draws near to each one of us. He finds us when we are lost, moving heaven & earth to be with us. No matter where you are, Jesus is actively pursuing YOU!
Discipleship requires knowing how to draw near to Jesus. Join Bible teacher KAT ARMSTRONG & the WOMEN OF FRISCO BIBLE for this weekend getaway as we explore how following Jesus faithfully means more than trailing behind— it means learning how to come close to Him, seek Him, & trust Him in every moment.

Our Speaker

Kat and her husband, Aaron, have been married for twenty-two years and live in Dallas, Texas, with their son, Caleb, and attend Christ Fellowship McKinney where Aaron serves as senior lead pastor.
Kat Armstrong
Kat Armstrong is passionate about encouraging curious Christians to explore Bible stories in a way that brings Scripture to life. She desires for believers to read the Bible imaginatively—so that engaging with God’s Word never feels boring again.
Kat holds a master’s degree from Dallas Theological Seminary and is the author of No More Holding Back, The In-Between Place, and The Storyline Project, a six-book Bible study series. Studying and teaching the Bible remains her greatest joy in serving Jesus.
In 2008, she co-founded The Polished Network, a ministry dedicated to equipping and encouraging working women in their faith and careers. She currently serves as the Senior Director of Marketing and Content Development at Integrus Leadership while pursuing a Doctorate of Ministry in New Testament Context at Houston Theological Seminary, studying under Drs. Lynn Cohick and Scot McKnight. Learn more about Kat at katarmstrong.com

I love digging into Gods word and studying
with friends without distractions, being
intentional in meeting and getting to know the women
of Frisco Bible and making new friends!

Community is important and iron sharpens iron.
I need the "on purpose" time away with wise
women & time to pray and just BE STILL!
