Additional Information about our Next Chapter

We know you probably have some questions about what church life will look like in this next chapter of our home.  Below we have as many questions as we can think of to help you think through your engagement in this next chapter!
Questions about new service plan
  • Will we be able to fit in the Worship Center with two services?
    • Yes!  We have plenty of room to expand.
  • Why did we got to three services in the first place?
    • We added a 3rd service to make room for our kids, students and adult.  God has blessed us with expanded classes and the addition of Buildings 3 and 4 so we now have room to do the ministry God has called us in 2 services again!
  • Is someone going to tell me where to park?
    • Our new parking team is here to help you as an added layer of hospitality to greet everyone as they arrive on our campus.  Please wave back at them and listen to their instructions so we can maximize the flow and safety on our campus.
  • Is someone going to tell me where to sit?
    • Maybe! Our greeters and ushers are available to help you worship the Lord. As the worship center fills in, our ushers will guide you to available seats  or ask you to slide toward the middle to allow others to join.   Please partner with us in listening to their instructions as we make room for everyone God brings to worship with us.
What will the Children and Student ministries look like on Sundays?
  • When will  birth to college be meeting?
    • We will offer regular FB Kids (birth-3rd) classes during both services.  Our Students (4th-college) will be meeting during the 11:00 service.
  • Will my kid's classroom be the same?
    • We are working on setting classrooms according to the needs of each class.  Our Kids Ministry will be sending out communications soon, so you can prepare for the class your child will be in.  We chose Promotion Sunday for this change to  minimally impact our kids in their environments!
  • How will Student Ministry operate?
    • We are excited to see our growing Student Ministry (High School and Middle School) be back together in the gym during 2nd hour.  We will be closing the courtyard doors as an entrance to the gym and  increasing our hospitality presence through the main foyer of the Children/Student Building.
  • Will check-in for my kids be the same?
    • There will be a few new things as we make our environments optimal for kids' wellbeing and growth.  We will create separate hallway entrances for pre-school families and elementary families.  We ask that only parents with a tag enter the hallway.  We will have a friendly face  checking your tag before entering the hallways to better secure kid spaces and keep the hallways more open. Please park strollers in designated stroller parking in the foyer!  If you need assistance, our hospitality team will be available to assist.
  • What curriculum will be used  for families?
    • 1st service (birth-3rd grade)  HiFi by Lifeway
    • 2nd service (birth-high school/adult)  Gospel Project.  We love this hour as it will tie your whole family's growing up in Christ together! We are expanding what we do to offer an adult class that will also use the same curriculum as our birth-college, unifying what our parents and kids are learning on a Sunday morning and equipping our parents with the tools to disciple their kids in day to day life.
Building Refresh
  • Updated classroom and hallway spaces
  • Children/Student building foyer refresh
  • New remodeled classes
  • Fun entrances to our Children/Student Building
  • Building 3 and 4 remodeled for use of adults, including clear external signage
  • New secure entrances to our Kid's hallways
  • Several other possibilities are still being explored
All the Difference
Later this Spring, we will have a brand-new format and delivery for all of our ATD teaching!  While the radio program has been a blessing to many, media has shifted to podcasts and on-demand delivery. ATD will now publish videos (and podcasts) of a “Questions of the Week” and a study called “The Bible Place” where we will examine places mentioned in scripture, working our way through each book of the Bible. History, culture, language, locale, sense of place and more will be discussed so that we can each understand the import of and information communicated through each place in time. More details coming.
