We are thrilled to announce that our Student Ministry is embracing an exciting new leadership structure to enhance the ministry to our students. Traditionally, we have operated with separate Middle School and High School Directors to oversee their respective age group ministries and support teams. As we move into the Next Chapter of Frisco Bible Church, God is leading our Student Ministry in a new direction. We are stepping away from the existing model to create a unified approach that taps into the unique gifts and talents of each of our directors to more effectively help students mature in Christ.

Why the change?
This isn’t just about restructuring—it’s about refocusing. By embracing a collaborative approach, we can better support students, leaders, and families with a consistent, Christ-centered approach. Our team is stronger together and this Next Chapter allows each staff member to serve where they thrive. We truly believe this change will help us reach more students, build deeper relationships, and continue to point them to Jesus with passion and purpose. We can’t wait to walk this journey with you—and we’re so grateful to have your family as part of it.

Who’s my point person now?

And if you’re ever unsure, just email studentministry@friscobible.com and we’ll help you from there.
What will Sunday and Wednesday look like?
Beginning June 1, 2025, all 6-12th graders will meet in the gym during 2nd hour (11 am) on Sunday mornings. We look forward to a shared space for worship, teaching, and community across grades. Small groups formed by age and gender will continue to allow students to process with peers and trusted leaders who know them well.
Note: We will close the courtyard doors as an entrance to the gym and increase our hospitality presence through the main foyer of the Next Gen Building.
Students will continue to gather for community building time and small group discussions on Wednesday evenings. Each small group will continue to consist of two amazing adult leaders and students within the same age and gender.
Will teaching still be age-appropriate?
Absolutely! We are launching a specialized teaching team that is trained to communicate effectively across age groups. On Sunday, large group teaching will focus on core biblical truth while students are arranged in age-specific small groups for discussion. Their small group leaders will help them process, understand, and apply the teaching in a way that fits their stage of life.

Small group discussions on Wednesdays will remain the same.
Will there still be separate events by grade?
We have always worked as a Student Ministry team to determine yearly events. This restructure doesn't change the events we do, only the reassignment of responsibilities to ensure events are executed effectively. As always, we will continue to collaborate as a team so that our events can help students Connect with Christ, Grow in Community and Impact the world around them.
Is anyone specifically overseeing Middle School or High School?
Instead of dividing Student Ministry staff by age group, our team will lead by roles. Each director supports both Middle School and High School students through their specific area of focus while the small group leaders focus on knowing and supporting the individual students.
This is exciting! How can I be a part of Student Ministry?
