NY Mission Trip Day One

Our team was up bright and early to catch our 6:40 am flight from Dallas Love.  We prayed as a group and then headed towards security. Everybody made it through without any problems. Then we waited to to board our first flight to Chicago and then to Albany, NY. After landing in NY we met our global missionaries, Tiago & Amy Braganholo at baggage claim and then we headed on the bus to have some lunch at Jersey Mike's. Our food tasted so good after being up for so many hours. After lunch we made the one hour drive to Lake Schroon.

After we arrived at Word Of Life camp, Tiago gave our team a brief summary of the camps and what we will do this week serving. Then we took a walk and toured the camp properties.

Our team is enjoying the cooler weather and all of the trees.  The campus is beautiful and we are excited to begin our service projects.  After our tour we had an early dinner and enjoyed a lovely cool east coast thunderstorm. Now we are playing some games back in our cabin and getting to bed early so we are ready to serve tomorrow morning.
