Costa Rica Day Seven

A day of rest, play, and reflection.

We spent the day at the beach sleeping, playing water polo, chatting, and enjoying some local wildlife. 

We arrived back at the hotel for a Papa Johns pizza dinner and a final time to debrief as a team. Our discussion included how to prepare our hearts and minds to return home, lessons we learned from our time with the children and Hope Partners, how we saw God work in us and through us this week, and what we see as needed changes in our own lives upon our return.

It was a great time to hear the team members share their hearts. There is something special about witnessing a team come together for a project and come away closer and as better friends. The Redeemed Community of Jesus' bride really is a beautiful force of good when she bands together in the uniqueness of each individual to accomplish a task.

What an opportunity we have as believers to work together as a body to engage the chaotic world. May the Lord encourage your heart to find the one person to share the Hope of Jesus with today and help them know peace.
