Day 4| Wednesday
Today we started off with a later breakfast, which was nice to recover a little bit of sleep. Once we got to the school where we have been working, we were greeted enthusiastically by the kids of the school. The joy they have for life is contagious. For our work today, we were painting the ground with several games that the kids will be able to use during rec time. Among these games was hopscotch, a target throw, and a maze. Everyone overcame the hump day. Even though there were some energy struggles, we all grew together and where able to trust God to supply all that we needed. Once we got to the Hope Center, we set up quickly and began to get set for the day. Todays group of children was smaller, which was super great so we could further connect with the kids in a deeper way. Our team gave it our all so the kids would know that they are loved by Jesus. After leaving the center, we went to Walmart and got ourselves some snacks (and most importantly Yipys, a Costa Rican favorite). After heading back to the hotel, we had dinner, debriefed with our Hope Partners, and had a devotional led by Lincoln. We headed back to our rooms early to catch up on needed sleep. We are excited to see what God does in our final day of work.
PRAYER
*Continued energy
*Our group tomorrow will be younger, so prayers for our communication (English is harder for the younger kids)
*Our schedule tomorrow is reversed, so pray for our flexibility!
*Pray for NO RAIN (really!) It has poured every afternoon and tomorrow we are suppose to be painting outside.
*Pray for our team as they are continuing to process our trip for long term impact
